As with all types of painting, roof painting is all about preparation. Firstly all nails must be checked and tightened or replaced as required. Secondly the entire surface is to be THOROUGHLY cleaned and all loose or flaking paint is to be removed. Any rusted areas must be treated and primed. After all of the above steps have been completed, two full coats of quality roof paint can be applied.
